Cong freezes when using "Stage all" on large number of unstaged files

After waiting several minutes of no feedback from the program, I shut it down and restarted. The files were correctly staged then. So it probably was a UI problem?

Please provide “steps to reproduce”. You probably use the “Stage” command from the context menu but not “Stage all” from the title, please confirm.

If so, you are right and “Stage” operation is synchronous at the moment, we will rework it in the future. As a workaround just use “Stage all” action from the title context menu. Thanks.
