Line ending lost during copy-paste

Steps to reproduce

1. Open any difference
2. Enable side-by-side mode
3. Place the cursor at the beginning of the line
4. Press Shift+Down then Ctrl+C
5. Paste copied text into any text editor

Actual Result

Single line, line ending is lost.

Expected Result

Two lines, second line is empty.
