We need to purge all the usage of foo.bar.all from the templates. It's only their job to process data, not to call functions on various models and or other things. This is the main reason for things not beeing ordered properly.

Perhaps this is the basis for creating a new issue? - I'd be happy to be in charge of the purging.

If you can combine filters with tags, then we could. I'd be very much -1 on that solution though.

We could easily roll out a quick-fix for this particular problem though. So I guess that will be the solution. I'll fix this issue tomorrow morning, and then I'll create a new issue for template clensing in a few minutes.
